Installation

Install the silencers after twisting your bowstring to its desired brace height. Many archers prefer one silencer above and one below the nocking point, while others prefer two above and two below for additional noise reduction. Silencer placement is largely personal preference and can be adjusted to find the quietest setup for your bow.

After positioning the silencers, remove or carefully split the heat-shrink tubing and separate the Dyneema fibers by hand. For a fuller, more uniform puff, gently brush the fibers with a small brass or bronze brush, which helps separate the strands and maximize the silencer's effectiveness.
